The Community Development Institute is a series of training sessions orchestrated by SCACED for non-profits, local branches of government and other professional organizations. Attendees learn from peers, build practical skills and connect with existing state, regional and national resources. Your sponsorship helps us to offer structured trainings throughout the year.

SCACED orchestrates other networking and educational events including South Carolina’s Annual Community Economic Development Conference, Opportunity SC. This conference is a collaborative forum where community development leaders interact and focus their collective energy on the current housing and economic development needs facing underserved communities. This conference traditionally attracts more than 300 attendees, and a variety of sponsorship levels are available.
