PPP Webinar 2-Part Training sponsored by South State Bank
Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Update
At the end of 2020, Congress passed the Economic Aid Act, issuing an additional $284 billion for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). This third round of forgivable loan capital is available to first time PPP borrowers and certain eligible businesses/organizations who qualify to apply for additional loan capital. This could be a second opportunity to procure loan funds for your business or organization. Our two-part webinar training provided attendees the opportunity to learn from South State Bank and Small Business Administration (SBA) representatives as they previewed eligibility guidelines and required documentation for applying for a PPP loan.
Session #1
Since some businesses and organizations will be able to apply for a second PPP loan, this session gave attendees the opportunity to see if their business or organization meets the criteria to apply. Sponsored by South State Bank, in this session representatives from the bank shared information on the loan application process and documentation needed to apply for a PPP loan through South State Bank. South State Bank is one of many SBA qualified lenders participating in the PPP. This training also included time for Q&A where participants engage with SBA and South State Bank representatives.
Presenters:
Phil Zeman, SVP Community and Economic Development Relationship Manager
Marshal Harris, VP/SBA Relationship Manager
Gregg White, SC District Director for SBA
Session #2
Session 2 gave attendees the opportunity to learn from South State Bank representatives, who walked applicants through South State Bank’s online application portal and answered questions about documentation requirements in the loan application process. You can use the information below to contact a South State representative for any questions on the PPP application process.
