The USDA 502 Loan Program is a valuable product that provides affordable loans to low- and very low-income individuals and families who wish to obtain housing in rural areas. Organizations can play an important role in the program by becoming a Certified Packager to help promote the product and to help applicants navigate the loan process. Additionally, organizations earn a fee for each loan that is processed.
