The USDA 502 Loan Program is a valuable product that provides affordable loans to low- and very low-income individuals and families who wish to obtain housing in rural areas. Organizations can play an important role in the program by becoming a Certified Packager to help promote the product and to help applicants navigate the loan process. Additionally, organizations earn a fee for each loan that is processed. This is a great opportunity for organizations who serve rural areas and have interest in providing affordable housing opportunities.
This 3-part series will include training and open discussion of best practices for current packagers for the Direct program; going over how to become a Qualified Employer and Certified Packager with Fahe as the Intermediary; and what it means to be a Qualified Employer/Certified Packager with Fahe for the Direct program. Fahe will also be sharing all marketing tools that have proven to work for the Direct program in several other states.
You don’t want to miss this comprehensive training to give you the knowledge and roadmap to having a successful program in organization.
